Charlotte Front Porch Remodel Brings Charm & Functionality!

The Charlotte Remodeling Company enjoys designing and remodeling small projects like this particular front porch for a Charlotte homeowner.  These types of projects are affordable and can be designed and completed quickly.

The homeowner in the photos was missing the functionality and design of a front porch for quite a few years.  It was just a project that kept being moved back to make room for larger ones!  But they missed having the security of the front porch for inclement weather and to have more of a welcoming “feeling” when their guests came to visit.

When we began the design of this particular front porch project, the homeowner wanted something that was small, creative and functional that would not “clash” with the home’s architectural style or neighboring home designs.

So we suggested and designed a really pretty minimal wooden front porch structure with a very creative copper roof top.  The end result looks like the front porch as always been attached to the front of the house!  This is one of those projects that we have literally done hundreds of.  And we really enjoy the process of these smaller projects.

As you can see, the finished front porch project looks like it has been attached to the front of the house for years!  The simple wood columns and facade of the structure leads to the elegance and “wow” factor of the beautiful copper roof!  The homeowners are really enjoying their new front porch and they tell us that it looked fantastic at Christmas with their holiday decorations!

Charlotte Home Receives Remodeling, Renovating and a Makeover!

Charlotte Kitchen Remodeling Project Concludes Before the Holidays!

We have remodeled and built literally hundreds of kitchens since 1978!  We thoroughly enjoy working with our clients and their kitchen remodels and upgrades because so much time is spent in these central hubs of every home.

Kitchen remodels and upgrades are totally custom and based on the desires of each client.  There are so many different styles of kitchens with everything from contemporary to traditional to French country to Shaker style.

The photos on this page are from a recent kitchen remodel in Charlotte where the client wanted some contemporary touches in their kitchen remodel.  The granite counter tops and work surfaces are the real star of this Charlotte kitchen remodeling project.  Absolutely beautiful kitchen granite work.

The contemporary and energy-saving “green” appliance package makes a wonderful decorating and functional accent.  The matching stainless appliances add a flair of class with the flow of the new kitchen remodel design.

We really like the beautiful range hood over the counter top stove top.  It is really an elegant statement to this contemporary kitchen remodel.

Did you notice how the salmon-colored paint on the walls is picked up in the granite on the counter tops?  That slight hint of salmon color really gives this kitchen remodel an heir of design and sophistication.

There has always been something really pretty about designing and building with different types of wood and stone.  The big pines, cedars and redwoods just look amazing with different stones.

The curving cut of the braces give this structure character and spirit!

This project was a fun addition that the homeowner asked us to design and build as a gift for their family.  The family enjoyed spending time outdoors in their yard and wanted something “special” where family members could spend quiet times and enjoy their yard.

We designed and constructed this very functional combination of a trellis and sitting area with a swinging bench.  The homeowner can put special plants around the area and has even started some flowering vines on either side of the new trellis!

Charlotte Kitchen Remodeling & Charlotte Jack and Jill Bathroom Remodeling Projects!

By far, the most popular rooms in any house to remodel are the kitchen and bathroom.  And if you really think about it, these two rooms contain most of your home’s unique comforts and conveniences!

A really popular remodeling trend we are seeing today is the transformation of old closet space and an existing smaller bathroom  into Jack-and-Jill type bathrooms.  These bathrooms are usually connected on both ends to smaller bedrooms. 

The Jack-and-Jill bathroom is very popular with young families who have children who need to share a bathroom, and the connecting feature of the bathroom to both rooms is ideal!  Not to mention the potential return on investment when it comes time to sell your home down the road.

Lots of common Jack and Jill bathroom designs feature a double bathroom vanity. This kind of bathroom vanity includes two sinks, which means that more than one person can use the sink area at the same time. Charlotte Home Remodeling Contractor Introduces Zipper Doors for Home Construction Projects!

We are always searching for innovative and unique ideas to help us when remodeling homes across Charlotte.  And when we find these new ideas, we like to share them with you.

This new idea is awesome…and we really like using them.  Zipper Access Doors allow access into work areas that have been sealed off to contain dust and debris.

These doors can be securely “cut in” to the enclosed areas at convenient locations. This ensures that the work area is still completely isolated, while allowing a “passable area” that can be completely sealed up after use.

This Zipper door is an extremely handy tool that allows workers to enter/exit as needed; as well as a great feature for Homeowners to still be able to access their homes during the remodeling and construction process.

The Zipper Access Door is constructed of durable plastic and a heavy duty zipper. It is made to withstand frequent zipping and unzipping by work crews who need to enter/exit the work area frequently.  You’ll probably see us using a Zipper Door in your home when we start your remodeling project.  And, believe us, you’ll be thanking us for the Zipper Doors!

This project was an amazing project. The old stairs in the home were completely removed and these beautiful custom stairs were built.
